3. Vehicle Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information regarding their vehicle.
Incorrect vehicle information may result in incorrect glass or parts being ordered and may require an appointment to be rescheduled.
AM AutoGlass may request a VIN, photographs, documentation, or other information to accurately identify the required glass, parts, or calibration procedure.
4. Appointments and Scheduling
Appointment dates and times are provided in good faith but may be affected by circumstances including:
Traffic
Weather
Parts availability
Supplier delays
Previous appointments
Technician availability
Vehicle condition
Calibration requirements
Equipment or technical issues
We will make reasonable efforts to notify customers of significant delays or scheduling changes.
Unless specifically guaranteed in writing, appointment times should be considered estimated arrival or service windows.
5. Mobile Service
When mobile service is provided, the customer must provide a reasonably safe and accessible location where the technician can perform the work.
The work area should provide sufficient space around the vehicle and should be free from conditions that could make service unsafe or impractical.
Weather conditions, including rain, excessive wind, extreme temperatures, or other environmental conditions, may require mobile service to be delayed or rescheduled.
6. Customer Responsibilities
Before service, customers should remove valuables and personal belongings from areas where technicians may need access.
Customers should inform AM AutoGlass of any known:
Vehicle damage
Electrical problems
Sensor or camera problems
Warning lights
Previous windshield or glass installation problems
Rust or corrosion
Aftermarket modifications
Interior or exterior modifications near the glass
Pre-existing vehicle conditions may affect our ability to perform a service successfully.
7. Pre-Existing Damage and Vehicle Condition
AM AutoGlass is not responsible for pre-existing damage or defects that existed before service.
Examples may include:
Rust or corrosion
Damaged paint
Cracked or weakened trim
Brittle moldings
Previously damaged clips or fasteners
Damaged dashboards or interior panels
Existing electrical problems
Existing sensor, camera, or ADAS faults
Prior improper glass installation or repairs
During removal of existing glass, previously damaged, deteriorated, or improperly installed components may become apparent.
If additional repairs or parts are necessary, we will make reasonable efforts to inform the customer.
8. Glass and Parts
Depending on availability and the customer's request, AM AutoGlass may install OEM, dealer, OEM-equivalent, or aftermarket glass and related components.
Specific manufacturers or brands cannot be guaranteed unless agreed to in advance.
Glass may naturally contain minor optical characteristics that meet applicable manufacturing or safety standards.
9. ADAS Calibration
Some vehicles contain cameras, radar systems, sensors, or other Advanced Driver Assistance Systems that may require calibration after windshield replacement or other repairs.
Depending on the vehicle manufacturer and repair procedure, calibration may be static, dynamic, or a combination of both.
Calibration may be affected by conditions outside AM AutoGlass's control, including:
Existing diagnostic trouble codes
Vehicle modifications
Alignment issues
Tire or suspension issues
Damaged sensors
Camera or radar faults
Road conditions
Weather
Lighting conditions
Manufacturer system requirements
If calibration cannot be successfully completed due to an existing vehicle problem or condition outside the scope of the glass service, additional diagnosis or repair may be required.
Completion of an ADAS calibration does not eliminate the driver's responsibility to operate the vehicle safely and remain attentive while driving.
10. Insurance Claims
AM AutoGlass may assist customers with insurance-related auto glass claims.
Coverage, deductibles, reimbursement amounts, approvals, and claim decisions are determined by the customer's insurance company and are not controlled by AM AutoGlass.
The customer remains responsible for amounts not paid by the insurance company unless otherwise agreed in writing.
AM AutoGlass does not guarantee that any service will be covered by insurance.
11. Payment
Payment is due according to the terms provided at the time of service.
Customers are responsible for all charges not covered by an insurance company or other third party.
Accepted payment methods may vary.
If a payment is reversed, disputed, declined, or otherwise not completed, the customer remains responsible for valid outstanding charges.
12. Cancellations and No-Shows
Customers should contact AM AutoGlass as soon as possible if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
AM AutoGlass reserves the right to establish reasonable cancellation, special-order, deposit, or no-show policies, particularly when parts have been specifically ordered for a customer's vehicle.
Any applicable charge will be disclosed when required.
13. Warranty
Any warranty provided by AM AutoGlass applies subject to the specific warranty terms provided with the service.
A workmanship warranty generally applies only to problems directly caused by the installation performed by AM AutoGlass.
Warranty coverage does not generally apply to damage resulting from:
New impacts or rock chips
Accidents or collisions
Vandalism
Vehicle body movement or structural problems
Rust or corrosion
Pre-existing damage
Defective vehicle components
Aftermarket modifications
Customer or third-party alterations or repairs
Normal wear and tear
Improper vehicle maintenance
Warranty claims may require inspection by AM AutoGlass before corrective work is authorized.
14. Windshield Chips and Repairs
Windshield repair is intended to improve the structural integrity of damaged glass and may improve its appearance.
A repaired chip or crack may remain visible after repair.
Because damaged glass is already structurally weakened, there is a possibility that a windshield may crack further during or after an attempted repair.
Where permitted by law, AM AutoGlass is not responsible for additional cracking resulting from the normal and reasonable performance of an attempted repair on previously damaged glass.
If a repair cannot be completed successfully, windshield replacement may be recommended.
15. Safe Drive-Away Time
After windshield replacement, customers must follow any instructions provided regarding adhesive curing or safe drive-away time.
Driving the vehicle before the specified safe drive-away time may affect the windshield installation and vehicle safety.
AM AutoGlass is not responsible for issues caused by failure to follow post-installation instructions.
